ABM College Information

About College of Agriculture Business Management (CABM):            The college of Agriculture Business Management is a part of Gramonnati mandal a group of Institutions led by Late Guruvarya Rajaram Parshuram Sabnis a visionary who brought Higher education at the doorstep of rural students. In line with the dreams of our founder, Management of Gramonnati Mandal has established “College of Agriculture Business Management” in 2006 to provide quality and useful education with managerial skills for rural students. Our Management, Faculty and Staff are committed to provide quality higher education for students by considering student at the centre of all activities. Delegation of authority and participative management has helped us to run the institution effectively, in line with our Mission, Vision and Objectives. The Management members meet quarterly in LMC meetings and also give occasional visit to the college in pursuit with quality of work and facilities.
The Infrastructure includes spacious Classrooms, Practical Labs, Conference Hall, Library, IT (Computer  Lab) Facility,  well Equipped Laboratories, Gymnasium, Medical & hostel Facilities for boys & Girls etc. The college has  qualified, dedicated faculty members who can develop the students in the best possible way, not just academically but also provide them opportunities for their all-round development as individuals. The college also owns 20.21 hectares of land known as “Vasundhara Farm” for gaining practical experience in the Agriculture field, it includes commercial plantation of Mango, Fig, Sapota, Aonla, Custard apple, ,Tamarind,pomogrenate, Coconut and Sugarcane, Crop Cafeteria, Farm Pond, Farm Shed / Stores / Labour Quarters, Practical Sheds, Fertigation unit with Drip irrigation system in  entire farm. Agro-meteorology observatory, Nursery unit, Watershed Project etc.

College is Located at Narayangaon, Narayangaon is one of the most important town in Pune District, popular for its natural beauty and fertile soil conditions. Water is abundant because of its proximity to the major dams, the western ghats, and the Sahyadri mountain range. It is situated on the leeward side of the Sahyadri mountain range, which forms a barrier from the Arabian sea. Narayangaon is situated on the bank of river, Meena. Widely spread hill range covers the town from southern part and separates it from adjoining Ambegaon taluka.

Historical Importance:
Shivneri Fort is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaj who founded and ruled the Maratha Empire during 17th century is 16 km away from Narayangaon. Two of the Ashtavinayak  Ganapatis named Lenyadri and Ozar are located nearby. Historical Nane ghat is a place from where trading to the Mumbai market was being done since around 8th century. It is around 35 km west to the Narayangaon. Lenyadri, Manmodi, Tulja, Shivneri are the caves in nearby areas which are existed since Buddhist era.
             You can reach Narayangaon  from major cities via road. It is situated on Pune-Nasik National Highway NH 50. It is 77 km north to the Pune, 132 km south to the Nasik and around 176 km east to the state capital, Mumbai.
